Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By using Hookr, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Apple Standard EULA (iOS App)

If you are using the iOS app, the Apple Standard End User License Agreement applies and is available at: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

3. Description of Service

Hookr provides webhook creation, event notifications, webhook forwarding, and notification scheduling tools.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining account security and all activity under your account.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Hookr for illegal, abusive, or malicious activities. Commercial use is permitted.

6. Webhook Disclaimer

Webhook handling and forwarding are provided on a best-effort basis. No delivery guarantees or retries are provided.

6.1. Third-Party OAuth Integrations

When using OAuth to connect third-party services (e.g., Shopify app):

  • The third-party app is responsible for requesting, storing, and securing OAuth tokens
  • Hookr stores only the service identifier (e.g., shop URL) to identify your account
  • The third-party app bears responsibility for token security and compliance
  • See our Privacy Policy for details on what data Hookr retains from these integrations

7. Subscriptions & Payments

Paid features may require a subscription. Billing is handled by Apple App Store or Google Play and governed by their terms. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled in your App Store or Google Play account settings. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status and entitlements; payment credentials are handled by Apple or Google. Refunds, if available, are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms. Users may delete their account at any time.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Hookr is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hookr shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost data or missed webhook events.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. For iOS users, where Apple’s Standard EULA requires application of the laws of the user’s country or region, that requirement controls.
